The third research Office is a new scientific research department established in 2018 according to the strategic development needs of the Institute. It focuses on the frontier basic application research, high-tech research and engineering application in the field of cyberspace governance, and is an important base for cultivating outstanding scientific and technological talents, carrying out academic exchanges and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements。

　　Scientific research achievement 

　　In recent years, the research team has undertaken more than 100 national science and technology support programs, National 863 programs, major nuclear high base science and technology projects, National key research and development programs, leading projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Natural Science Foundation projects or subjects, and national major construction projects in the field of network security。He has published more than 100 papers in TAMI, TC, TPDS, TASLP, SIGMOD, ICML, CVPR, NeurIPS, IJCAI, AAAI, WWW and other high-level journals and conferences at home and abroad。The developed cloud computing management platform, big data storage and processing platform, big data analysis system and network space knowledge service system have been applied in a number of national major projects, playing a key role in the core。The key members of the research team have won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of information Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Society of Electronics。
